Heute Abend findet im Rahmen des 7 festivals eine Reihe von Präsentationen in verschiedenen Wiener Geschäften statt. Ab 17 Uhr heißt es im Stundentakt vom ersten Bezirk in die Leopoldstadt und über Gumpendorf in den Siebten zu hetzen, zumindest für alle, die alles sofort wollen.

17h: Mühlbauer – Hats and Fashion
Seilergasse 5 & 10, 1010 Vienna
Mühlbauer, a hatmaker since 1903 [1010 Vienna, Seilergasse 10] presents its FS 2007 collection and the FS 2007 collection of Austrian jewellery designer FLorian.
In the recently opened Mode Mühlbauer store [1010 Vienna, Seilergasse 5] Austrian designer Danijel Radic will present a series of designs made especially for MODE MÜHLBAUER. Danijel Radic, hat designers Marlies and Klaus Mühlbauer as well as the shop manager Heike Vieweger will attend.
18h: Song – Introducing SONG by SONG
Praterstraße 11-13, 1020 Vienna
Myung Il Song, owner of the eponymous fashion store on Praterstrasse, which also features a gallery space, presents the debut collection by designer Jeung Gyu Song.
19h: Nachbarin – European Fashion Design
Gumpendorferstraße 17, 1060 Vienna
Nachbarin, the small, innovative shop next-door to Café Sperl, carries PREEN, Tim van Steenbergen, Veronique Leroy, Cathy Pill and the Austrian labels flor de illusion, Claudia Rosa Lukas, Sonja Bischur, FLorian, rosa mosa and Anna Aichinger. In addition to video presentations of the latest shows by the international designers Nachbarin represents, a 7% festival discount will be offered on purchases of 100 EUR or more.

20h: Guerilla Store / Installations
Gumpendorferstraße 65, 1060 Vienna
The Guerilla Store is a joint project of the 7 festival for fashion & photography and the Wirtschaftskammer Wien (Vienna Economic Chamber). For the temporary store occupying the former premises of Ferry Mossboek, a top buyer has been brought to Vienna – Ken Oyama of The Pineal Eye [London] – to choose the labels and products to be sold. A fine range of Austrian fashion design, accessories and lifestyle products is the result, with selected pieces from Wien Products [Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten, Backhausen interior textiles, Wiener Silberschmiede Werkstätte, Schau Schau Brillen, J. & L. Lobmeyr] rounding out the offerings. The official opening will be attended by KR Brigitte Jank, president of Wirtschaftskammer Wien.
Together with BREAD & BUTTER DESIGN, Unit F will show four multimedia installations by Austrian designers eva blut, flor de Illusion, peter petrov and Wilfried Mayer at the shop that convey the artistic aspect of fashion. Karl-Heinz Müller, Managing Director of BREAD & butter, will attend the opening.

Mondscheingasse 20, 1070 Vienna
On the occasion of Viennaâs â7 festival for fashion and photographyâ PARK invited designers, photographers and artists to present some of their recent work within an exhibition at the shop. Titled âENDE NEUâ? it doesnât claim guidelines in form and content but focusses on the variety of possible presentations of fashion. Concepts range from installations to video and photo to modifications of the shopâs architecture. Participating designers are A&C, Bless, Christian Wijnants, Fabrics Interseason, Hartmann Nordenholz, House of the very Islandâs…, pelican avenue, Peter Pilotto and Wendy&Jim who are all essential elements of PARKâs assortment. Photographic and art work from Bettina Komenda, Bert Houbrechts, Michael Strasser, Hauenschild Ritter, AES+F, Anne von Freyburg and Pirmin Blum.
The designers, photographers and artists will be on hand at the exhibition opening.

Mein Programm: Song und Park und eventuell Danijel Radic bei Mühlbauer, denn Talente von der Modeklasse sind immer interessant. Bei der Nachbarin wird’s wohl ein bisschen eng werden, und was ich nicht ganz verstehe: Wieso braucht’s einen renommierten Byer, um auf Augarten, Backhausen etc. zu kommen?
